Business Continuation Planning Services

Our experienced, certified planners help your company develop, manage, maintain, test your recovery plan, and train your employees to implement the plan when necessary. CPSI helps your company plan for the resumption of business operations, including facilities, computer support, office functions, and process continuation for distribution or manufacturing operations.

Computer recovery includes mainframe, client/server, LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and stand alone work stations. CPSI's Business Continuation Plan software is comprised of three major sections.

  1. The narrative section is comprised of thirteen chapters covering a broad range of topics such as explaining the need for the plan, restoring computer services, team and departmental responsibilities, purchasing requirements, asset replacement, salvage operations, training, and a step-by-stop dater recovery scenario.
  2. The schedule section (table formatted) includes thirty-four different schedules that provide all the supporting information for your company's Business Continuation Plan.
  3. An appendix section contains: work station information, disaster prevention checklist, user department questionnaires, general and detailed instructions for completing supporting schedules, form letters, risk analysis, and computer crime assessment

Data Center Design

Data Center Design includes detailed design specifications for data centers, including space, utilities, protection devices, and disaster avoidance.

Long Range Systems Planning

Long Range Systems Planning assesses a client's long range systems requirements and implementation alternatives. A formal systems strategy would be developed to include application descriptions, resource requirements, educational needs, use of purchased software, use of LAN/WAN technology, development sequence and timing, and business resumption issues.
